Meet The Staff

Weston Hardy- Color/Cut Specialist. Has advanced education in adapting every aspect of a clients lifestyle into innovative and trend setting haircuts and color. Was stylist for Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction in Salt Lake City, and has been involved in many other fashion/hair symposiums.

Lisa Chieppa A native of Washington, D.C. area. Graduated from the Graham Webb Academy of hair in 1994. Relocated to Ogden and began working at Thomas Hardy Salon. Trained with Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble, the Graham Webb Academy and numerous color classes with Redken, Framesi, Primary Syn, So-Color, and Scruples.

Michelle Markham-
is a licensed Master Esthetician who has extended her knowledge of skin care through classes from Dermalogica and in permanent makeup application. She loves working with skin and offers a variety of anti-aging, acne, and waxing treatments. She also offers custom airbrush tanning so you can have that golden glow without the damaging effects of the sun.

Tawnya Nelson
-Colorist/Hair Designer Has advanced training in: Tressa and Goldwell perm techniques, and is a certified color specialist in the Goldwell Master Palate. She has also studied advance hair cutting with Alberto Ruiuz. And follows up on trends and techniques with: TIGI, Aveda, Matrix Essentials, and Graham Webb.

Melissa Lopez-
Color / Cut specialist. Specializes in Fusion Bond hair extensions, using 100% human hair. For the past year, she has trained with Sexy Hair Concepts and currently is an educator for the company. Melissa also has extended training with Matrix CRAFT color and cutting, Goldwell color, and Human Art.

Patti Cox-DeFries-
Has done men and women’s hair for 22+ years. Specialized in color, color weaves, haircuts, and perms. She also has extended training with the Vidal Sassoon Academy in the art of men and women’s cuts.

Sydney Hawks-
Redken Color Specialist. Teaches seminars on Human Art by Brook Design Company. Uses skills taught by custom cutting and coloring based on your bone structure and design. Has 20 years experience.

Tressa White-Colorist/ Hair Designer
Graduated in 1993 from the Von Curtis Academy and Design, in Provo Utah. She has traveled throughout the U.S. presenting hair shows and photo shoots next to Thomas Hardy. And was one of three participants in salon makeover 2000,as cutting artist, where her team received a 1st place award for, Utah State Hairdresser of the Year.

Shawnie Colohan-
Specialized in color and haircutting. Has had continuous training in both Matrix and Redken color lines. Participates in numerous fashion / hair shows and has experience doing hair for photography.

Lacie Pedersen-Colorist/Hair Designer
Has 10 years of experience within the beauty industry. She specializes in all areas of color and hair design. Has had complete training as an Advisor for Matrix Essentials. And now travels throughout the United States to promote: Senegenseís Long Lasting Make-up.

Marnie Melaney-
colorist/cutter- Has done hair for 8+ years and has worked at Thomas Hardy Salon for over 7 years. Specialized in color and has gone to classes on a regular basis to keep up with all the new trends and techniques. I love my job and love to serve you. I will meet any of my customers needs.

Heather Marvell-Colorist/Hair Designer
Since 1989 she has taken a big part in the hair industry. Beginning with her advanced knowledge from Alteri and extensive training in haircutting and color with Matrix Essentials C.R.A.F.T. classes, trained with Tony & Guyís national platform artists, and is a Qualified Master Colorist /Artistic Educator with the Matrix Essentials team.

Melanie Brown-
Colorist / Hair Designer. Specializes in color, cutting, and wedding styles. Graduated from the OWATC. Has advanced training in Redken and Enamels hair color. Has been working in the industry in Logan and Ogden, Utah. Continues her education in color, cutting and style.

Ammon Carver-
Color / Cutting Specialist. With his passion for the fashion / hair industry, he brings new innovative ideas to the salon. Currently a master educator with Matrix Essentials, he specializes in the latest cutting and coloring techniques. His experience and training from all parts of the country give him the versatility to achieve the high fashion looks of today.

Danielle East-
Has been in the industry for 6+ years. Specializing in color, Dani works as an artistic educator for Matrix, teaching other stylists to reach their full potential.

Chaunsey Hildebrandt-Colorist/ Hair Designer
Brings to Thomas Hardy Salon, her extended knowledge in European and British hair cutting with east coast style, from the Graham Webb International Academy of Hair, in Washington D.C. She is also featured on the Artistic Education team as a colorist for Matrix Essentials.

Amber Prendergast-
Nail Tech, Specialized in gel and acrylic nails, French toes and pedicures. Has 4 ½+ years of experience.

Tom Bassett-Colorist/ Hair Designer
Began his career as a hairdresser in 1997. Working with Paramount Pictures as a stylist for James Woods, Josh Hartnet, and Kirsten Dunst. He has found his way from the fast pace, to his own chair at, Thomas Hardy Salon, where he displays his up-kept knowledge in the latest trends by: TIGI, Aveda, and Goldwell, to name a few.

Melissa Lopez-Colorist/Hair Designer
Was a recent apprentice under Thomas Hardy, where she mirrored every technique. Completing the SoColor training, she is certified within the Matrix Essentials color line. Also, a team participant in the: ì2000 Hair Olympics in, Chicago, ILî. And maintains extended education in: perm, haircut/blow dry, and facial waxing.

April Blackwelder-
Has extended training with Goldwell and Matrix. Specialized in color and haircuts. Loves to do creative color and foiling techniques. Is able to create beautiful and unique design in up-do’s with all hair lengths and textures. Has experience in hairstyling, braiding, etc.

Jennie Gladwell-
Graduated from Stacy’s Beauty College. Has been doing hair for 3+ years. Specializes in color, haircutting, and style. Has advanced training in Redken color and haircutting techniques.

Katie Barrow-
Colorist / Hair Designer. Graduated from OWATC. Specializes in color, haircutting, and styles. Attended classes with Matrix Essentials, Redken Color, and advanced cutting classes.

Kelly Barnes-
Nail Tech, Graduated from OWATC. Has been a nail tech for 3+ years. Specializes in gel formed nails, French toes, and pedicures/manicures.

Emma Wright- Colorist/Hair Designer
Attended Stacey's Beauty College in Ogden, UT. And has many awards to show for her talent as a hairdresser. She received a: 6th place award in ìInternational Formal Styleî. A 9th place award in 'Utah State Formal Style'. And a 3rd place award the following year in, 'Utah State Formal Style'.

Heather Price-Hair Designer
Has been working as a hairdresser for 6 years. Working as a full time artist with Thomas Hardy Salon for 2 of those years. She specializes in: Formal styles and short hair design. She also keeps her skills well polished with consistent updated education in: perm techniques, haircutting, and color classes.

Jamie Andre-
Nail Technician- Has been in the nail industry for 8+ years. Was a certified nail instructor and taught for several years. Specializes in natural acrylic nails, colored acrylic, and manicures. Has over 100 choices of nail art to spice up your nails.

Tracy Campbell- Hair Designer
Has worked with Thomas Hardy Salon for 11 years. Specializing in: haircutting, coloring, and perming. She has extended education with Vidal Sassoon Academy.

Allison Bodily-
Specialized in Haircutting and Extensions. Worked under and was trained by Toni Saraki in Cottonwood, Ut.. Was taught haircutting and coloring techniques.
